My Love, My Life, My Husband

My Love, My Life, My Husband

I remember the first time we met,
I was so young and didn’t know what to expect.
Our first real kiss I won’t forget,
With it stuck in my head with no regret.
Everyone said we wouldn’t last,
Look at us now with the years that have past.
Through the years we have grown,
With our ups and downs who would have known.
20 years and two daughters later,
You and I together are the creators.
My heart still beats fast when I think of you
Our lifetime of memories and the dreams that have come true.
You are my glue that holds me together,
Your love for me is like no other.
You know how to cheer me up and make me laugh
I would have to say you are my better half.
You are my sunshine on my rainy days,
You make all my clouds fade away.
We grew together and I want to say,
I am so proud of the man you are today.
We will continue to have some mountains to climb,
But our love will continue to grow stronger each time.
There aren’t enough words to say,
How my love for you grows more every day.
In your arms is the place I love best,
Having you in my life I have been truly blessed.
My Love for you will last forever,
You and I forever, we will be together.

Love your wife,

Yes my husband was my life too. Even three years after his death, his memory is fresh in my mind. Lovely words, makes me understand how muvh I miss his closeness. Sue x
