Under my skin
boy if you only knew
some how you got in
you got through...
These hands of mine
control where im headed
steering the wheel to my life
not wanting to let anyone in it
with a strong grasp they hold the wheel
but somehow you got to me
you slipped my hands off the wheel
easily done, frustrated im feeling
under my skin...
I am going crazy...
Anticipating when I will see you again
boy, how did you get to me?
there’s something about your smile
something about your voice
that catches me in the net of life
caught and tangled up in you boy!
When are you going to leave
I know you will and I will be scattered
for my wheel I quit steering
but I hope for a while you will stay here
your kindness and interest
has captured me in this net
so much to life you want to quest
you notice things so little, yet
they wrack my world
causing me to think them over and again
causing to speed up my heart like a fool
your under my skin...
and full of so much debate
you cause me to think
I like the things you have to say
under my skin you did sink
how did you do that?
How did you sneak through?
I have tough skin that
isn’t easy to get through
life hasn’t always treated me kind
putting me on guard
I don’t just let anyone in my life
so I hope you’ll stick around and not go too far
for you got under my skin
causing me sleepless nights
causing my heart to twitter pate with in
im afraid you will go leaving me like
guys before but I will hang on for the ride
with out having to control
hoping for a while you will be my guy
under my skin, you have shaken my world...
