Sweet serene serendipity,
As the chance of a lifetime lears,
A distant sudden epiphany,
Of amity begins to sear,
Branding itself into my heart,
Creeping into my marrow,
Imbedded deeply into wounded parts,
Is this poison from cupids arrow,
Soaking steadily silent and soothing,
A sudden surreal stirring surprise,
Finding lifes rough spots and constantly smoothing,
Exposing pits of my soul making them rise,
Filling my head invading my dreams,
Copious constant bombardment of thoughts,
Seeping through crevices bursting at seams,
Surging euphoria through once droughted spots,
Soaking my tongue in a embrosia of lust,
Conspiring my staggering hand to commit,
These unfaultering phrases inspired from freindship and trust,
Gained from a women to whom my love I submit.

I enjoyed this piece, i think it is definitely one that you have to read twice to begin to fully understand but i think it shows a depth that means it's not just another simple sappy love poem. Well done. |
