I'm sorry,

What did I do?
What did I say?
Is it even my fault?
I want to die.
The moment you
Stop smiling,
The world dims,
The birds stop singing,
The air gets stiff
And sticky.
I'm sorry,

The Earth has stopped spinning,
Everything's still.
The silence is deafening,
The silence is deadly.
That look in your eyes,
On your face,
It kills me.
It screams at me.
With every glance at you
I sink lower
Into the ground,
I break
Into smaller and smaller pieces.

Every smirk,
Every glare,
It hurts more than anything,
And you have no idea.
