Our lives begin to end the moment we become silent about the things that matter.
It ends something invisible but the power of that can make things in your life shatter.
The way you feel and if you care can mean more than you’ll ever know.
Cause not every scar, not every hurt, not all your pain will show.
Nothing is like it and nothing could be worse, it’s like a penetrating knife, it feels like a lie and it feels like a curse.
So what do you do when you feel no one can understand like this desperation and desertion will never end,
When it doesn’t seem that way to anyone else, no ones there not even a friend.
Your so alone you could kill the silence and it would still be there, and the things taking you over are complete guilt and fear.
Your whole world around you, your entire life is falling apart.
Everything is broken your mind, soul and your heart.
No, nothing could possibly be worse, not even something that brings on a tear. Cause nothing is worse than having no one not a single person to say, they’ll always be there.

I understand the words in this poem. After my husband died, I felt so alone, and also believed that no one cared. It is an emotional rollercoaster, that we all travel on at sometime. Thank you it is very thought provoking. Sue x |
