Shine,
Memories,
Dirty brown fear turns the rusty key.
Shine,
Honesty,
Patience is never worth the misery.
Shine,
Obscurity,
You’re being all that people want to be.
Life is never what we want it to be.
Imperfection, Shadows, Hate: -
A trial of error and misconception.
Life’s Shadows fall to the floor,
Only to find that the one you knew is not there anymore.
Shattered image on the wall....
Tell me who's the fairest of them all?

I agree with Man on High, the pace gets more exciting halfway into the poem. Interesting questions you've raised here: "Tell me who's the fairest of them all?" Brilliant last line. |
