It comes for me yet
The presence is too close
I need a shot of Novocain
In a massive dose
Anguish, depression, and night
Have stalked me like the moon
Weakness is breaking my body
For I now lie in bed till noon
I want to now give up
And I need to be free
As I now turn my shoulder
Traitors are all I can see
I can no longer trust them
Oh how my broken mind aches
I don’t know who to believe
Or how much love this life takes
From dusk till dawn
And night to noon
My paranoia builds
And the headache comes too soon
I shall always be alone
And cry myself to sleep
But I care not
For my heart is something you can’t keep
But who cares if I go
If I leave this world behind
You might say you will miss me
But I know you are only trying to be kind
I used to wear my heart on my sleeve
And would let it go for the take
But people would walk all over me
And make me feel like I was a fake
No matter what you say
No matter what you do
I will always be alone
With these solemn few
So I yell that it is no use
Your smile can break me no more
For here I give you my body
Lying cold and stone dead on the floor
