Follow the path and cross over the bridge,
my garden thou shall see.
Through the mist of the morning,
fair lady come to me.
While the flowers in the garden,
sip the dew of early morn.
With flowing gown of white,
and hair that is adorn.
I shall wait fair maiden there,
as thou comest with love for me.
My arms have longed to hold thee close,
and pour my love on thee.
Hasten now thy steps to me,
our time shall steal away.
My garden there our refuge be,
please come to me I pray.
In my garden across the vale,
midst flowers kissed with dew.
We shall there embrace our love,
for our secret rendezvous.
