Poetry can help you vent all your tears and fears,
tell a story of your life thats happened through the years,
you put it on a poetry site means all the world to you,
no one makes a comment, so you dont bother to,

Its best to keep your poetry locked within your heart,
it may not mean much to others, but to you its a big part,
of a life your hopes and dreams, every one tells a tale,
so dont worry about poetry threads, where to them has no avail..

over the years I've complained about getting few comments and done it in poetic form. Better to use those talents just to write poetry.. complaining gets nowhere. I look at the number of reads; that's more important anyway. Oh and I learned to ask myself how much I was commenting also..

Iv been here for many years now, it all comes in cycles and as the site gets larger poems go faster plus there are games and the forums some times noone really comment on anything just reads dont take it to heart.
As your here longer people get to know you, Writing a poem about it doesnt do much good though. Make sure your also commenting alot not to get comments back but to contribute to the site. Hang in there.

Write for yourself Lillyjane and if others are lucky enough to get to read your poems then that's good for them. I like the way this poem explains how your feelings go into your work, this shows with everyone of your pieces and when you do put so much of your soul into something you sometimes feel you need to have some sort of show of appreciation. Everyone who reads them lillyjane loves them!

Keep the Faith, lilly. Keep writing and posting as you are. Your work is enjoyable and GOOD. Don't be YOUR OWN WORST ENEMY! I stole that from a fantastic writer on this site!

any kind of feedback is essential.. it's the foremost reason why artists create in the first place..(shortly behind the expression of self.. that is)

Nicely done~
