Shunned

Contributed by Nazmythian on Tuesday, 16th May 2006 @ 09:46:51 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

( having become accustomed to their banter, I notice when the voices are still )

They are quiet now
No new tunes
To filter through
The lazy afternoon
Sun

Fallen silent now
Missing words
That go unheard
Muted, much like songbirds
Done

Sleeping peaceful now
No new dreams
Or muffled screams
Demands or ponderings
None

I feel empty now
Without voice
Though not by choice
There is no inner noise
Shunned

Wow. If this is you SHUNNED . . . holy heck snaz!

Writers block . . bah! You don't know the meaning of those
words mister word master. Even when you are "silenced",
you speak volumes!!

Wonderful piece here snazzy. And completely relatable. Only,
when MY voice goes . . . it REALLY goes. lol

Amazing....writer's block can sometimes serve as the greatest muse of all, as your words clearly show...looking forward to reading what more amazing poems you will produce when those voices come back.

Ah well Naz. Turn the radio up and do the moon dance or something. :) One of your shorter works, but still seriously good.

And...
A lot of people seem to be MIA these days. Here's to hoping they return. all the best to you

Well good sir, I wish for the voices to start up again for you, yet it seems that you were not quite so empty as you say!
Me thinks there was a whisper or two unoticed still going on!

This has been fun exploring your writes and runnin' all over the place! Maybe that's it. Writer's block might be takin' ya all over the planet 'n' universe to find the next lines to another great write. This is one of 'em.

Naz,

Very well done for a writers block. I can really relate, as I have struggled with writers block. I discovered, as you demonstrate here, that when blocked, you write about being blocked.

Excellant write, perhaps no longer blocked....if you ever were?

Well done ms friend
