To this I say but you never heard,
I spoke in your ear,
But you can't hear,
Looking away, yes, far away,
Your mind is taken astray,
I spoke to you all I could say,
But in the end you went away,
This I can't hold against you,
Because you just never knew,
All that was said from my heart,
You never heard it from the start,
Why do I speak, why do I cry?
Filled with this feeling I sigh,
I should just keep silent and still,
Never try again for you have no will,
For so much I poured out to you,
But by choice you simply never knew.

Simplistic, yet speaking volumes on how painful it is when we try and fail to reach out to someone because they just refuse to listen....I've been there. Beautiful write, you've worn your emotions on your sleeve and they are art.
