Treachery smiles at the scent of trust
Innocence brooding pale, pensive to the moment
A fragile soul steels at instinct’s forlorn toll
As life incites another dark tryst
Souls battered in contracted moments
Held relentlessly at deceit’s smirk
Runaway spirits cleaving to hope
While dark sapience grapple to spurn
Her sighs hollow the tired universe
Speeding her to time’s silent edge
Every turn rages to the temporal end
To finish at life’s Elysian start
A life born to survive blows
Tempered to fervid carnal throes
Chastened by this world which loves to impose
Blooming to the nights that she has to adorne.
