Talking doesn’t justify
The lie we keep inside,
Run around in circles chasing,
What we can’t seem to hide.
A promise can’t be broken,
With words only we can hear,
But this promise only works for one,
While the other is in tears.
And all the while a lie is forming,
And the secrets getting way to deep,
Soon the fear is over taking,
What we can’t seem to keep.
Falling down in theory,
While minds race to find rationality,
But nothing that has happened,
Fits into this reality.
