Time couldn’t clap her hands over my ears,
I still heard her lovely voice crying that the day was over.
Not a single enemy made for the day.
Just another stroke of destiny brushing across her face…
We move over to the side,
Until the hour turns slowly to the right.
She walks on farther
She won’t wait.
She just strides on down the road,
Waving at all of those who ask for more.
O how they beg…
They get down on their hands and knees
And ask for just a little bit more.
But she whistles in the trees.
She falls and walks a bit more…
Tumbles…o how she tumbles…
They don’t even notice,
As she passes by and tells them no
They can’t have anymore…
Open your eyes…

jThe funny thing about time is, the older you get the faster it goes by. Which is why each day should be lived to the fullest. Time is the stuff life is made of. Good job.
