Everywhere I turn; your face runs through my mind
Everywhere I look; I can't seem to get away
Everywhere I run; why won't you leave me alone
Your voice echos into my thoughts; it haunts my dreams
Your eyes burn into my my heart; why can't I let you go
Your touch withers my skin; the soft touch hurts me
Why can't I get away; what do you want from me
Why can't I run; I wish you weren't so deep
Why can't I cry; the pain chokes my senses
Let me go; you have no use for me
Let me live; release your grip on my heart
Let me love; he doesn't deserve to be compared to you
I wish I could block you out of my mind; stop haunting me
I wish I could move on; I let you in too deep
I wish I could forget; my heart aches for you and I hate it

I hear ya. Hard to imagine how someone can burn themselves so deeply into our souls isnt it? Cant forget them...cant live with the memories.... one hell of a spot to be in eh?

You have expressed the feeling of not being able to let go very well and personally, I think people who bring only misery to someone else doesn't deserve to be in that person's life.
life is too short. so I hope you can let go.
