While you were away

I walked sensuous night's lonely corners
Ice fingers wrapped around my soul
I played alone in dark's mystique fabric
Keeping me awake on moon's silent songs
Friendly rains beat their midnight rhythm
While crickets heard my secret wants
Trees rustled their wet green moves
Showering me little broken thoughts
I whispered them my need for you
Raging silent at Venus' hearth
Winging me to love's lonely despair
Losing myself in this distance from you.

A very heart felt write. I could feel the longing.
I wish for thee love. |
