A beauty rained upon
the stinging of the rain,
the rain of lifelong negativity.
The pictures are taken
but remain colourless.
capturing splendour is worthless.
To no avail
I try to escape these negative words
but I appear to be imprisoned, a slave.
A slave that I am to these shadowed words
But I know,
more blood letting is to come.
I’ll intoxicate myself
into my unwanted conscious.
A world where the sun doesn’t rise
nor has a chance to set.
A domain where integrity is vain
and pacifists die in shame.
A endless battle with negativity
thoughts of bleeding myself dry
will always haunt my head.
These toxins will always bleed
from this darkened heart of mine,
what lies is now stained.
