Topic: Holiday Poetry

today is a day of celebrating all the moms of the world
whether they do their jobs and love their kids
or are selfish and don't care a whit

today is a day of sadness for some of the children of the world
whose moms have died and gone far away
or for those who just aren't around

today is a day of intrigue for all the mothers to be
for they know they will enter soon
the sacred realm of motherhood and family

today is a day of nostalgia for all those who had bad moms
who didn't care enough about them to raise them up high
and let them be the best they could ever be

today is just another day that celebrates
all that it is to be a mother
good or bad

NIcely done.....but you forgot to say it is a dreaded day for those who have lost their Moms and have also lost a child and can never be Moms themselves...
