I could sit here all day and write about you,
And that
The loss of your touch makes me want to drive all night,
It’s almost memorizing the hold you had on me and what I’d do,
It’s odd to me that after all you said you felt the need to leave,
And that
Something deep inside you was compromising something good inside yourself,
In order to talk to me.
It’s crazy because I sit here and after all this I’m in shock you aren’t here,
And that,
Something just so little that is reminding,
Can bring me suddenly to tears.
It’s ironic that all the while I sat here thinking I was in control.
And that,
As soon as I realized you could get by without me,
I didn’t know where to go.
