shivering in fear

Contributed by ek_da_poet on Saturday, 13th May 2006 @ 10:41:26 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

long time ago
a frustrated devastated young man
who felt pain and saw the loved ones
go night night right before his very eyes

shivering in fear
knowing his family is all sick unfree
unfaithful cruise through his memory
critical blow to his heart

incredible deep drops
of sweat with shivers
as if a ghost went through
and took his mighty strength core

the words i wrote
with the flow of note
ideas of feelings
were written in many papers
including this creative line
sad that it was written its mine

the medical world had a few to say
things arent looking good today
short life respiratory beat
soon they said he wont be standing
on his honest caring one of a kind feet

holding the hand tightly
not letting go
on the hospital death bed
displaying a vision living
with each other another century
but who am i kidding

prayers are made
miracles could save
hopefully in tie
the darkness shade
leaves silently with no clues
to wake up knowing everything is good

Touching and hits home with me. my husband had congestive heart failure and passed away. my daughter had fourth stage throat cancer. I'm praying my sons will be ok.
Good poem. Enjoyed it.
