Woke up today feeling kind-of blue.
Didn't really know what else to do.
Cry? Smile? Scream? Yell?
Wondering what has put me under this spell.
My heart aches, and I can't heal it.
I'm becoming immune. I can't seem to feel it.
Maybe it's a good thing, me being numb.
Or Maybe it's a bad thing, me being undone.
I don't know, so I'm reaching out.
I'm calling Your name to tell me what this is about.
For someone who is thought to be so strong...
How and when did I go so wrong?
That doesn't matter now. It's in the past.
The second I cried to You, You were there to last.
I need your healing touch to grasp my heart.
I need You to speak and make a lasting remark.
My broken soul I place in your hands.
With your help alone, again I can stand.
You are the only thing that's been true.
So now, I completely give my life to You.

Oh....this takes me back to my own pain and sickness. And I too cried out to the Lord. he seemed to be the only one listening. Not even the doctors would listen for a long time.
And my kids thought I was losing my mind.
Anyway, great poem and very touching. Enjoyed it.
