It’s hard to believe that I forgot
Everything that was real, was true
Everything that I said I’d do
'Cause standing here with you
I tore my heart in two
Trying to decide how to keep you mine
But even now I see my hold is lost
You are so far gone…
Maybe soon you’ll see what you’re letting go
As you look at her, I’m walking out the door
Everything’s a lie, everything I thought was mine
But now I realize it was all a dream
And now it’s ripping at the seams
Maybe now you’ll see what it is you’ve done
All the damage you’ve caused…
So now I’ll do what I said I’d do;
I’m finally leaving you…

Very powerful write. Its always hard to leave someone. Keep up the good writing.
