I Can Play That Same Game Too

Contributed by kaitee on Thursday, 11th May 2006 @ 11:01:37 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

What do you do with all of your time?
Sit back, relax, and try to unwind?
I question that deep within me...
Do you really think I'm that naive?
I know I'm not the only girl you talk to..
You prolly take me for granted, don't you?
That makes me bitter, and that makes me mad.
These feelings I'm having are not good, but bad.
If this is something that you choose
Then I can assure you , me you will lose.
Be careful how you choose our words.
When you try to explain this, don't sound absurd.
If you like me, why don't you call?
Instead you make plans with all other girls.
I can play that same game too.
My whole world isn't surrounded around you.
So if you wanna keep me, start acting like it.
But if not, I'm gonna end up breaking it!!

The same game. I like the title, it ties in nicely with the poem, unlike my poems. Sometimes guys just don't realize what they have until they lose it, then they want it so bad. I should know, I am one. Great write.
