I cannot believe how lucky I am, just to have someone like you,
I’d give you the world if I could, you know it’s true,
Diamonds are forever, they last eternity,
I hope that these diamonds, represent you and me,
I’ll stick by you in the thick and thin,
Because when we are together I always know we will win,
They say nothing is perfect, but I know that’s a lie,
Your smile just refuses to let me -or make me- cry,
I forbid myself to love, I forbid myself to feel,
I forced myself to lead a life, where I was barely real,
maybe this is a dream, some unreal slip of the mind,
each day a static reflection of the next, an adventure waiting for me to find,
When you hold me in your arms I just know I’ll get through,
Because baby you see, I’m so in love with you.
