Go ahead and leave me alone
I'll be perfectly fine.
Disconnecting the phone
For silence isn't far from the vine.
The pain is written on my face
Tried so hard, wouldn't erase.
Hurt is now my family
Happiness, the enemy.
Everyone says the dead can't speak
But I say they may.
I heard them when I was weak
I have since I went crazy that day.
But I'm okay, for real.
I'll be fine now
I'll go ahead and seal the deal
Just so I can wipe the sweat from my brow.
