Message in a bottle,
letters in the sand
whispers on a Summer’s breeze,
gestures with the hand
Clouds of words across the skies,
a wish upon a star
longing looks across the room,
worship from afar
Pieces of the puzzle,
finally making sense
steps that were so awkward,
now form a lovers' dance
Shapes within a tea cup,
speak of things to come
till then with you I have no voice,
for love has struck me …
dumb.

So clean, so tight, so tender, so shy, so SUPERB. Hmmm. I think I remember using that word before. Tip o' the hat to ya, wordmaster! Please never be silent.

I hereby dub you the rhymemeister!
This just tripped off the tongue...
even with my lisp!
(admittingly it's one of those alcohol induced ones)
Excellent as always.

Clever piece, S.
And such a sweet sentiment. You so seemingly
write with ease the most beautiful stanzas.
And I must agree with John's comments. They are bang
on, in my most humble opinion.
Wonderfully enjoyable write!!

This is a very sentimental and romantic poem. It's easy to picture the person in love - longing from afar - nicely constructed.
