A walk down cold grey Clifton
Reminissing of days gone by
The warmth of Summer
Makes me wonder why
Home is where the heart is
Or Where we lay our hat
It's in my blood, engraved on my heart
This much I know that
From wet springs in the city
To bright nights on the downs
The cold harsh autumn winds that blow
The winter snow surrounds the towns
Four seasons that I admit I forgot how just they feel
Though I'm thosands of miles away I have not lost the appeal
A proper pint of beer, Western Country bliss
A pirate man or Robin fan, another promotion miss
The Mall so new and Broadmead old
Yet it caters for us all
If buildings could yell I would hark your beckon call
Foriegn places lured me
Amazing places I have seen
Yet I long for home on days like these
For that Bristol Country green
So no matter where you are today
Put a smile upon your face
As New York, Sydney or LA
Can ever take it'splace
So Bristol I raise my glass to you
My life you have given me
A photo gallery in my head
My timeless memory
