when you're down
When you're down
I wanna make you happy
so i put my effort in
and give you a large kiss
and look you in your eyes
and say i love you
no resort to stay
no wait
you will always know
i won't hide
you will be the one
that gives me pain of love
so much love i cant even hold
everything will be fine when i'm around
and that's every second because i'm with you
i'm your soul and you're mine
with out us it's nothing.

| It's a new age, and even the writing is changing. It's kind of hard to follow because you write as you speak I guess; but it's only a matter of us who are older learning that new language. |

We cowboys be tearin' up the English language somethin' awful when we talk and when cowboy poets write that talk, but we gotta be careful the substance of our collective mass of words is still readable and understandable. Timeless poets write for generational appreciation both forward and backward in age.
