I am your shadow
The one that holds you together
The person who is of a balance to you
Like the sun and the moon
Like the sky and the ocean
I’m your drug, your obsession
Memories of me are what keep you alive
Moments flash by seconds in your head
I am able to defy what you mean
My poetry fills your soul
My words are like a lullaby in your very breath
My voice, loves in you
My eyes, see in you
My scent, wonders around you
There is not a single moment you could live with out me
You have become a slave to my existence
And also to yours
You could only become what is of mine
You can be the darkness and I the light that brightens you
You can be the air that I now poisoned with my existence,
I have pressured you to be what you are
You could not complain
You are the reflection I see in the mirror
You have become the person who follows their own shadow
You can only imagine a life with me
You have surrounded your own existence around the one you so called love
You have experience me from a distance and already you have experienced something I have not
You have created a fantasy that involves me
I have refused, you have pressured
I have been haunted by what you have given me
You have betrayed your own lies
Been the subject of your own games
Have been the fool of reality
I am done
I have broken the reflection in the mirror
Have erased every flash of memory
Erased your pictures, your face, your words, your games, your lies, your fantasy
I had care for you once, not any longer
Lost myself in a so called love
Have fallen for your betrayal
You left me in despair
I have decided I would stay the shadow behind you
I can no longer live knowing you exist
Is time for me to just say goodbye and no longer be haunted by what you once had given me
I have felt regret, from your own life
I can longer visit the past we once had
I would teach myself how to become just a ghost, just a memory, no one
I have wished no memory of your existence
I have walked and I have left
No more in the shadows of your memory

i loved reading this one. it was long, but any shorter and it would have lost the thing that made it a great write
