the retired they call quit
old timers their beat
short years their standing by a tilt
classic is a cherish
a grandma, grandpa you must nourish
the hearing has weakended
talking gotten difficult slightly
nice to see you grandparents
huh they replied speak up loudly
my image has faded
like the black and white tv
as i entered the dining room
a confussion considering me
the technician a cable guy
why should i be mad
i laugh, its funny their family
mistakes happen more frequent then others
i still love them dearly
the day is still young
said my old gramps
lets drive and grab a take out
the old man decided to drive
swirled a few times
loses sight jumps left
little girl up ahead
aggressively speaking
awhh grandpa look out!
