|
Like a withered flower seeks raindrops,
Like a land of darkness needs light,
I wanted you as my redeemer,
I needed you in my sight.
Yet how is it that it seems,
You turned out so differently,
You played villian in all the scenes,
And now I doubt your sincerity.
Entering into my crumbling life,
I hoped you'd bring me strength,
But as I watch your unfolding lies,
I realize I'm losing my stand.
And now as I sit here in thought,
You are the biggest mistake I made,
For into my saddened life you brought,
Confusion, anguish and hate.
So the withered flower will die,
The land of darkness still as night,
Until I find one who truly cares,
Until my choices are right.

| Excellent write, although i found it quite sad. I think sometimes you have to experience the wrong guys in order to find the right guy you are looking for. Need something to compare to. The world is young, still many good choices out there. |
