That’s when I knew
All about life
And the meaning it gave
To me and you
Well I knew more
And I know less
But every belief that I have
Ain’t nothen but regrets
For the things I’ve done
But I’ve loved
I’ve loved so much
And I know how smiles fade
And how tears form from vacant plains
I want you
Only here, only now
The way things were
Far away like before
Hold it down, far down the line
Hold me close tonight
With the heat from your breasts
Risen to meet my cold heart
I face the unknown
The shadows so cold
With the warmest embrace
My tears taste you
My body remembers your love
And the imprints you left on my skin
As tomorrow fades
The days all fading away
I still love
I still hold on to memories
Carrying me through each passing day
Each passing wave
Crests with the brilliance
To take me back home
Take me back home
Take me back home tonight
