SOOTY GIRLS AND ME

a row of earthly muck
and rows of sooty girls
head to toe

to the side, me
with pale sterile feet

covered with shoes
that are covered with loam

i am camouflaged
with this earthly muck

more fascinating than the real me
to the side
with the pale sterile feet
