Painted needs, hues in primal love
Wing into forbidden spaces, subtle as thought
Some dancers know its ancient rhythm
In warm hollows and old calls
Smiling to surrender, heady from sweet defeat
Desires play their treacherous intrigues
Needs burn silent unsung fires
Teasing long nights through unsure moments..
Souls moving towards fires and destiny
Lose perfect lives and perfect homes
Drawing warmth from secret hearths
Secrets old as life itself…
Reason voices her warning notes
But some dancers move all the same
Picking up rhythm to know the moment
As life unfolds their pagan origin.

It's true many a soul have danced with the counterfeit god of Destiny, for pagan origin ways. The price for the real seems enormous, till surrender turns to gold.
Intriguing muse!
