Another misstep that I couldn't see.
Stare down at the tread, there was no way I could have known.
Your defenses are so quick to jump,
at my careful observations
Everyday another failure with you,
another day I am expected to change.
Another day you sit back and watch,
in gluttonous judgement.
Watch me trip over your rusty wire
But, how sweet the fall actually is.
Feel proud? Does it add that ray of hope to see my tears?
Does my resignation sing with accomplishment?
Or does it grate on your conscious?
My heart is yours completely ... and I fear that to be my death.
My devotion, My love ...
It's what makes me die every night.
Everytime I think we are better, the match we were destined to be
- My absurd observations and opinions soil it.
Do I have the right to exist?
Or is that too much of a strain on our existence?
All apologies, I didn't mean to speak.
I won't do it again ...
... I promise
