repaired
the shattered house
in the abandoned desert, out
along that long windy road
has waited through each passing day
with little clouds and little rain
in the heat and little breeze
it has waited patiently
for this day, this day of victory
finally the traveler, passed through there
and taken claim as its owner
this house repaired
by the life of travelers shared
now the house sings the golden theme
of sweet triumphant victory
the hand wood repaired floor
reflects the suns warmth
through the open door,
a warm welcoming open door
the walls echoing
“the past” still standing
though this traveler stayed
new travelers pass by every day
noticing this home so beautiful
“ once shattered” they will never know
the house shattered, left in a disaster
once, now beautiful and repaired
with detailed workmanship
of every corner and inch
a fine painting enhances
its strong built walls
reflecting a long lasting richness
repaired, this is my house

the traveler, the mood... God repaired...
the rhythm and sound felt good to my pens ears.
