Although we've known eachother for a very short time
I feel with you a connection of heart, soul and mind.
Neither one of us knows how long this will last
but Im hopeing if it ends you'll fondly remember our past
and maybe smile and think back to when
you and I were the closest of friends.
Sharing our laughter, dreams and ideas
listening to eachother with wide open ears.
For me this could be the love of my life
already I have visions of becoming your wife
and sharing a life of love and joy
but its too soon to tell you so I must remain coy.
I can imagine your reaction, you'd think I was crazy
but I just cant help it... Im in love with you baby.

I can relate to every emotion you expressed in this poem. He and I have known each other a short time. I am very new to poetry too... but it really does help you. I wish you luck, in whatever path you take.
