Too many people with broken hearts,
Too many people set back to restart.

Too many left to wipe their own tears,
Too many abused for years and years.

Too many left unsaid and unheard,
Too many restless are left to stir.

Too many people afraid to let go,
Too many proven with nothing to show.

Too many give up without a thought,
Too many wonder why they have stopped.

Too many people not given a chance,
Too many eyes see only a glance.

Too many people are left astray,
Too many regrets are here to stay.

Too many people have cuts deep within,
Too many patience is running thin.

Too many people left feeling lost,
Too many dying of anger and exhaust.

Too many suffereing from sadness and pain,
Too many feel like they have nothing to gain.

Too many feeling seemingly dead,
Too many words, Too deep to be said.

This is a great write. Many emotions are felt here, and expressed here. I applaud your work.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
