BEAUTIFUL!

They say that outer beauty
Can take a woman far.
But it was your inner beauty
That drove you into my heart.
It was the soft and gentle way
You honored me with words,
That had been hidden deep inside
The heart of you precious girl.
For beauty is in the hearing.
Just beholding can’t always tell,
That beauty that is only skin deep
Is from the pits of hell.
For when an inner beauty
Breaks a smile out on her face,
There is no greater vision,
Like golden pearls on a tapestry of lace.
The very night I met you,
I fell in love with what you had inside.
But whether it’s within or without you,
Your great beauty fills my heart with pride!
