For The Liberation From His Horrors

Contributed by xxx_fem_fatale_xxx on Thursday, 4th May 2006 @ 01:28:50 PM in AEST
Topic: war

May 4th, on this day
Thy shall be remembered

Many have fallen under
The dictation of a One Man's horror
If you believed in the wrong God
That would be good enough reason
To decide you shall not live

All Memorial Days together
Shall not be enough
To make people realise
All wrong that went on
In the Chambers Of Horror

May 5th, on this day
Thy shall celebrate our Liberation

Strong men came
From far away
Liberated those that were trapped
In dark chambers on fields
With people on death row

May this day be remembered
From now on and forever more
Many faught for our release
Casualties beyond believe
For the Liberation from his horrors

* written in memorial to those that have fallen during the WWII*

~~ Nats ~~

Thank you for this memorial. We should never forget those who suffered and died that others might be free.

Nats, Great write. Thank you for bringing it into the light. I had uncles who fought in World War II. Thanks for remembering. I thank all those folks who risk their own lives so other's may be free. Peace and hugs, Laura

Powerful and intense, it really does stop you in your tracks and make you think about life.
War is never a good thing, but sometimes due to tyranny there is no option.
Great work
