Sitting close to the edge
Feet dangling over
Tingling fear in your heart
No parachute to break your fall
Feet dangling over
Hole too wide to hear your echo
No parachute to break your fall
Snow covered evergreens clinging to the rocks
Hole too wide to hear your echo
Much too vast to see the other side
Snow covered evergreens clinging to the rocks
Colorado River only a speck
Much too vast to see the other side
Foggy mist in the horizon of pastel colors
Colorado River only a speck
The breathtaking Grand Canyon.

Oh this one is the epitome of imagery at it's best. A little tinge of danger in there makes it the best!
The Grand Canyon can make one feel just exactly this way.......it's so vast from end to end and side to side.
I love snow covered evergreen clinging to the rocks, as I lived in Steamboat Springs for many years before my husband died there. And snow is still my favorite thing!
This was great!!!!
Warm love
