My biggest regrets
are the things I didn’t do
somehow couldn’t do
or shouldn’t have done
My regrets have just begun
when they should have been
left in my past
and yet they last in my mind
My regrets are mostly
what I lost not what
I didn’t find or what
I didn’t seek
My regrets are the things
that make me fell weak,
insecure and worthless
all these things I hide
beneath the surface
My regrets have always kept me,
from being who I want to be,
from being able to forgive,
from truly being able to live
