Binded, but now subtley broken
A sad thing, but this is the love i have chosen...
I breath in the nicotine in your skin
I brought you the iodine and blood to fertilize your sin.
Such pretty lies we tell, like our pretty smiles
People like you come a dozen for a dime.
Programmed and ready and expertly written
Scripted to be perfectly smitten.
I abhor your taste (like summer gone bad)
Your going out of style, like a fading fad.
But I'm keeping you here, you'll be nifty to use
I'll do what you did, profusely abuse.

Wow! Great write. The opening line of your two line stanzas in each were potent and artfully striking! I have come to be a true fan of your work. Keep writing!

Excellant poem.
It captures some of the perplexity that a relationship can definitely hold.
