Out of the blue,
you came.
Beyond the picture,
beyond the frame.
Destiny's angel,
who lit a flame.
Telling my heart,
to live again.
Your face, your touch
your gentle smile.
Such heavenly looks,
within your eyes.
I wish, I wonder
if you and I.
I dream, I ponder
with hopeful sighs.

The first words that came into my mind were: gentle, sad, dreamy. This poem is so understated, yet it speaks for miles and miles about loss and what could have been. I will not pretend to know anything about you, but you will find your jodoh one day... |

This has such a melodic flow. So pleasant to read almost sad and yet hopeful.
and yeah, the waiting is the hardest part... |

"Out of the blue".... I have to wonder if there is not a dual meaning there, my friend... intending to convey something unexpected and serving as an indication that one is moving passed (or 'out of') a state of melancholy (feeling 'blue')?
I pondered, too, your remark about life and love being "so complicated". I'm inclined to think complicated isn't always a "bad" thing. Many, I think, believe it is easy to find, to fall and/or to be in love... and maybe... just maybe... it really shouldn't be. And frankly, if you asked me, it just... isn't. (That is not necessarily bad... honestly, I think it is part of what makes it so wonderful really.)
This is gentle and lovely. I don't find it sad at all really. Hopeful, tender, dreamy - yes... but not sad.
Rambling as ever (and begging your forgiveness for having done so),
~Snemmy
Oh and... Hazlan? We do miss you around here still, you know. *wink* |

AwwwwwwwwwBaronhawk 'tis true, for me and for you............there is always an angel just waiting to help you when you are down. It's happened in my life and now yours also!
Someone to pick you up when you are down, and someone to wipe away the tears before you drown.
This is a very gentle, lovely write, my favorite kind. Enjoyed reading it immensely
So good you're back .........we all missed you dear Baronhawk, next time you take to flight please stay closer to the earth so we can all watch you soar!
Warm love
