Destiny
T'was our destiny you might say.
You could look at it in any way.
Some say we were just stupid kids.
Whatever we were,
Our love was so pure.
I remember,
Upon our fourth meeting,
You gave me a gift worth keeping.
It was your heart,
So, I gave you mine.
Now we are eternally intertwined.
In our graves we remain.
In separate coffins, what a shame.
"Are you ready?" you said,
Each of us holding guns to our hearts.
Forever we are now,
We won't ever part.
"I guess." I replied.
With one last kiss,
Thank God, the bullets did not miss.
