Faded Memories

Contributed by Bamber on Wednesday, 3rd May 2006 @ 12:56:06 AM in AEST
Topic: mystical

Sometimes when I sit in my room
I see these memories
Though, they appeared to have faltered
Since I lost saw them

They are faded
The events they once held forgotten
Disconnected from my mind's eye
Lost within a dark aybss

Tell me
What all did I forget?
These memories that are faded
Are they forever gone?

Faded memories
Lost
Disconnected
And shattered

Tell me
Will these memories become whole?
Or are they forever faded?

very good, i can relate to these feelings- very much so. its kinda like we disconnect from the memories because the pain is too great... leaving the memories so distant and faded, we begin to wonder if they even happened- well written, well put. read my shattered house- its not finished though, im working on the last piece:)

Memories may fade but they will never disappear- not unless we want them to.
Lovely write.
