lost in the end

Topic: anguished

i woke up early this morining
the sky was overcast
not until i went outside
did i know that it would last

as far as i could see
there was nothing but rain
i went out that day and
did not relize id be in pain

i was trying to drive
with the rain just pouring
for another three minutes id be alive
if id've known i might've been more caring

all i know when i die
is to smile at death without
any need to lie and
without a cry, scream, or shout

My thoughts where moving slow
i didnt know what happened
my eyes snapped wide to find that my
chest was slit open.

I tries to scream
but i couldnt
i wanted to survive
and yet i wouldnt

the heat at first
was a welcome feeling
oh my God it hurts
as my skin starts searing

I smiled in wonderment
as my eyes closed for the last
a what a small place
i left so very far far behind

this must be hell where
i stopped at the last
where the blood of other man
has stained it all red

alone for eternity
i shall always remain
because i have lost my love
and no depth of hell can match that pain
