Are you afraid of the dark?

Topic: surreal

Is there something wrong with this picture? Just keep your mouth shut. Shhh.....
I'm trying to hear monsters Inside of my closet
Deposit all of my fears
That blow me away with a shotgun blast sending smoke rings straight to the moon
Listen as the ghost choir sings you in tune, "salute."

The pressure in the air is just too high for me to deal
The faces in the wall are looking too freakishly real

The bodies are missing, the moonlight is hissing,
I think somebody, something's listening
Rap-Tap-Tapping at my bedroom door
With ravens screaming never never never never more

So Crack the door open just a little bit more please
Hide under the bed sheets, a whisper from the willow tree
Seems like the screams of vanshees cause

Bad dreams can manifest into a nightmare so easy.....
Just keep telling yourself there's nothing under the bed, you're just sleepy

Maybe the light has been murdered by tonight
The fright keeps growing as the door is closing
Casting shadows over casket lids of my eyes

Run with those cycles inside your mind.

I like this... some real good lines here, especially "That blow me away with a shotgun blast sending smoke rings straight to the moon"
