TIME, or: a critical look at meta-narratives

Contributed by gothicangel on Tuesday, 2nd May 2006 @ 10:34:41 AM in AEST
Topic: fictional

ATTEMPTING TO
EXPLAIN MY
LOATHING FOR THE
META-NARRATIVE,
AND I JUST HUNG
MYSELF WITH THE
TIP OF THE ICE
-CREAM

the clever boy
who gives a
speech to himself
on his
own birthday

three sisters
who never really
saw each other,
though one of
them ate sushi
at least once

carnal adventures
that rely purely
on the absence
of substance
in
meaninglessness

YES, AS A MATTER
OF FACT I WOULD
LIKE TO KILL MYSELF,
BUT YOU ARE
VERY GOOD TO ME

a gore-flick from
the 70's desperately
containing the
illusion of
immortality

people reading
the meta-narrative
hoping
that it would
fill some gap

THE ABYSS WAS
NEVER
A PLACE TO HIDE,
BUT
ONE TIME I SAW
A MAN WITH TWENTYSIX
ARMS AND
A HAT ON
THE TOP OF
HIS HEAD

Drugs are bad mkay? haha, this was fun and weird, i like it. I know it's suppossed to be dark, but it was just so strange that it had a qualitative charm to it that I dig. :)
