Stop You Yet

My breath catches in my heart,
As I hear your footsteps speaking.
I'm almost here, they say.
Why do you fear? I'll only steal your soul!
So you drop into my eyes like a stone,
And the ripples you cause,
Send tears streaming down my face.
And you sink in my flesh like a blade,
And the wounds you cause,
Send blood streaming down my thigh.
I'd ask you to stop,
But you're gone,
Before I've finished screaming.
So come, old man,
This little girl can't stop you,
Yet.

The key line is "so come, old man, this little girl can't stop you". Put bluntly, it's about the repeated rape of a 10 year old girl, by her Uncle. |

This was written by one of my friends who somehow got onto my account. Not that I don't think it's a brilliant emotional peice of work, but I'd best not take any credit. |
